Motivating and mentoring students to participate in AUV and other student competitions and Student Poster Competitions for the IEEE Oceans conferences.

Initiated the Student Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (SAVe) competition along with IEEE OES, India Chapter and successfully held the same for more than 5 years.

Open house organised for students during foundation day of NIOT for more than 5 years.

Organised an M.Tech program at IIT, Madras on Ocean Engineering II and arranged the students to do projects at NIOT which are of practical relevance.
